10 belgian ales at Times Gone By
Times Gone By is situated on the road that runs from the Kappara roundabout into Gzira, and is on the left just before the traffic lights onto Triq D'Argens
It is open daily from 8am.
They offer Thai food, both to eat in the bar and to take away. Food is available at lunchtimes and in the evenings from 6 to 9.
And now you can order a Belgian beer too. Thers there is a choice of 10, which are Augustijn Blond, Bornem Dubbel,Bruegel, Duvel, Gulden Draak, La Chouffe, Liefmans Fruitesse. Vedett Extra White and Westmalle Dubbel and Tripel
The beers are proudly displayed on the shelving behind the bar and above them is a large mirror advertising Aitkens Falkirk Ales. The brewery opened in the Scottish town of Falkirk in 1740 and brewed Falkirk Ale till 1968 . they had been taken over in 1960 and by 1968 were owned by the Tennent Caledonian Group (Tennents Lager). In 1968 they closed the brewery and sold the site to Falkirk Council. The buildings were demolished in 1970 and the site is now an ASDA supermarket.
